Celebrating a New Facility Dog Team: Kelce + Christi

Posted on: in [ General, Placed Service Dog Teams, Success Stories ]

We’re proud to announce that Kelce and Christi are now an official working team! A few weeks ago, the duo passed their Facility Placement Test—and since then, Kelce has hit the ground running at the University of Missouri’s Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences Preschool.

Kelce has seamlessly transitioned into her role, helping ease the nerves of shy preschoolers during morning drop-off and offering steady, calming support to both young children and college students alike. Whether she’s performing deep pressure therapy tasks or simply being a quiet presence in the room, Kelce is already making a difference.

At home, Kelce has found her rhythm with Christi’s family—including her husband and their Doodle, Sherman, plus a few grand-dog Doodles who visit often. She’s loved, supported, and right where she belongs.

This marks one of our first official Facility Dog placements—and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who helped make it happen. Thank you for believing in the power of Service Dogs to change lives, not just for individuals, but for entire communities.

Here’s to the incredible impact Kelce will have for years to come.
